Damien Miller
This is my infrequently updated homepage. On the other hand, my shiny new weblog may be more up to date.
djm who?
Damien Miller is 30-something years old male who lives in Melbourne, Australia. I have a fairly broad range of interests:
- Simone and Hugo - my wife and son.
- Our first home - currently (finally) being renovated.
- Learning Japanese language - nihongo o sannen de benkyoshimashita. demo ima isogashi da kara benkyoshimasen :(
- Music - I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, liking almost everything except modern "rock" and most pop music. I especially like electronic music (which I used to write), Bach, Hidegard von Bingen and 20th century composers.
- Reading - Literature, hard science fiction as well as science, CS and other texts.
- Cinema - I try to enjoy lots of cinema, though I rarely at the cinema. My top ten list of films basically consists of works by the Japanese director Akira Kurosawa.
- Open Source / Free software - I try to contribute to a number of free software projects. OpenSSH has been the most satisfying. I am slowly expanding the scope of my (small to date) contributions to OpenBSD. Most of my output in this area is listed here.
Here is a picture of me. Some more conventional ones may be found in my photos page.
For the interested, here is my amazon.com wishlist. If you like the software, this is how you can express your gratitude :)
